John Paris, Band Leader and
Event Consultant
John Paris grew up in Northern California and was attracted to music and playing the guitar from an early age. He led rock groups through high school before attending the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston where he received a Professional Music Degree. Landing in Chicago via a scholarship to attend Depaul University, Paris earned a Master’s Degree in Music Performance. He has since made the Windy City home and worked as a professional musician for the past fifteen years. In 2010 he created John Paris Ensembles, a music brokering company which books live musicians for weddings and corporate events. John Paris Ensembles was voted “Preferred Vendor; Recognized for Their Commitment to Outstanding Service and Quality” by Eved Event Planning 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and an “E-List Member Providing Consistently Outstanding Service,” By Access DMC, 2010, 2011 , 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015. Paris plays guitar in JPE’s premier wedding and corporate event dance band, John Paris Band. Of his life in music, he says, “I have so much gratitude for the fact that I am able to have a career doing what I love most: bringing joy and happiness to people through great music!”
